Yeah it does a bit. From some renderings it even looks like the Murano.

Man I wish they were building this downtown instead. I guess it's still better to have a big building outside of downtown then nothing at all.

So for all of you guys that have been following this proposal for sometime (this is the first I have ever heard of it) what do you think is the likliness, percentage wise, that the Bridgeman's View tower will actually be approved and built?

It has no sales that I am aware of. I'd say the percentage chance of it being built someday aren't bad, but I am very skeptical about the November target. That's alot of condos to sell by November at a time when the sales pace for condos has slowed quite a bit and the cost of construction certainly hasn't dropped lately.

maybe they don't need more than 50% sold before building if part of the structure is going to be a hotel?.. just a guess though

Cost of Bridgman's View condos - ?

Anyone seen any rough pricing fro 1 - 2 BR condos at BVT? If the pricing points are below $350K, that would see a lot of condos. Of course, that may not be cost-effective.

From page 1...

Units/Condominium: 794 units, starting at $750,000

Condo pre-selling will begin within eight months and be handled in house. One-bedroom units of about 1,000 sf are priced in the mid-$700,000s. “Bi-level and tri-level penthouses of up to 5,000 sf or more are available,” he says, and puts overall pricing within the range of $700 per sf to $750 per sf.

It will consist of 794 condos starting in the mid-$700,000 range,

Came across this randomly. I'm not sure if it's the latest design or not (sorry if it's old), but I don't think it has been posted in the thread before.

spyguy, No one has seen that rendering. That is new to us. Nice spy work. Thanks for posting. This building is probably going to get built. It is really going to be a beautiful addition to Philly and actually start a second skyline for the city on the Delaware River along Delaware Ave.

Look how it dwarfs Water Front Square.

Or check out the architects site, seems they mostly do residential or small commercial:

In reference to the "second skyline" this is awesome. I think just having BVT as a landmark will draw in more surrounding development and hopefully these other projects will get built.

I would love to see it happen but starting prices for 1 bedroom unit at 750K with a Nov groundbreaking? I think it's asking too much in a short amt of time. Great find spyguy...

If it looks anything like the picture that spyguy posted, then that building should be in center city ....
