this building has a lot of interesting quirkiness going on . .
interesting from every angle . . lots of pieces and parts . .
Love the view of the building with a sightline through the big hole in the bottom.
My favorite view is the head-on view from the west looking east . .
she looks sleek and slim with the sharp crown and the bottom hole on the South side. .

This is really stupid sounding . . but . .
I'd love it if they'd leave the blue crane tower attached to the east facade . .
not with the boom attached mind you . .
just as an absurd industrial sculptural element running up all that cold silver glass . .
There's character here . . something you don't find in most all-glass buildings.

I think the stockiness will be diminished a bit by it's sibling!

It's fascinating to see how from the last pic that the roof slope degree of this and BofA are practically identical.

Fort Lee needs to get more 500 ft.+ towers. I know one more is breaking ground this Spring, but I love seeing those towers in the far distance, framed by the Palisades cliffs.

10 Hudson Yards nears full occupancy
By REW
February 4, 2016

Quote:
Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group announced that Intersection and Sidewalk Labs will locate their corporate headquarters at 10 Hudson Yards.

Intersection, the urban experience company formed in 2015 as the result of a merger between Control Group and Titan, and its lead investor, Sidewalk Labs, have leased over 67,000 s/f of office space joining Coach, Inc., The Boston Consulting Group, L’Oréal USA, SAP and VaynerMedia at the site’s first office building.

10 Hudson Yards is now nearly 100 percent leased and tenants will begin moving in this spring.
“Our focus is on using technology to improve life in cities,” said Sidewalk Labs CEO and Intersection chairman Dan Doctoroff, the former deputy mayor of New York City who was instrumental in having the west side re-zoned years before the Hudson yards became a reality. “As a leading data-driven, connected neighborhood, Hudson Yards is the perfect fit for us. 10 Hudson Yards is not only a technologically advanced home, but Hudson Yards more broadly will give us the opportunity to work with Related, visitors, residents and businesses there to explore how creative use of data and technology can make it an even greater place to work, visit and live. Moving here will also mark a milestone for me. The effort to turn this neighborhood into an engine of growth for New York City has been a personal mission for me for 20 years and it is very exciting to see that dream becoming a reality.”

Seeing the crown on this one coming along makes me less sad that we lost Foster's 2WTC.

If I'm not mistaken there's a chance that'll come back after Fox's decision to bail out... who knows with that site though.

But in any case the North Tower will have the same crown as this at the exact same height as Foster's 2WTC so either way we get something
