kind of funny how big of an eyesore those missing glass panels are. they really couldn't get panels at least somewhat close colourwise for temporary use?

^^ I think Austin's music scene could play off of that a bit, haha!

Not a night pic, but here's the 'V' lit up. From @jtype's instagram reels. I know it's not finished but I hope they do something with that undercarriage view of the office portion. Looking up at the raw concrete bottom is messy. That's the view most people will have of the building.

Duda Paine's renderings seem to indicate a wood soffit.

The exterior finishing looks pretty nice. Looks like things are coming together. What's with the UFO just to the left of Frost??? Why can't we ever get a clearer shot of those things?

I actually really like the back of this. For a blank wall it has class. The color is something different and it has texture. The ribbon of glass does a lot to break it up as well.

I like it. It's about what I expected. It's different and weird.

I dig the lighting, definitely has a futuristic vibe at night.

I hope this type of outline LED lighting will be seen for RiverSouth (425 Riverside) as well

hmmm not sure i like the blue stripe but i'll wait till i see it. the bottom half did have a 'wicker lamp' like quality at night which made a really cool contrast with the top when lit up at night. the building is starting to look real sharp though

June 21. 2021

Seattle-based law firm Perkins Coie has committed to an 18,000-square-foot lease at 405 Colorado — the brand new 25-story and 206,000-square-foot tower in downtown Austin. The lease was announced on June 21.

The law firm will move into the tower’s 17th floor in early 2022 as part of its expansion into Austin and Texas.

I saw it early on Saturday morning, and I must say it looked really good. It stood out in a good way with the copper color on the north side.

Even I'll admit that the copper color looks pretty good in person. I just wish it wasn't over a huge garage. This building is certainly unique, I'll give it that.
