Just curious...how much room do you need to shit? Are we talking splayed spread-eagle across the rim or hovering above it using a system of ropes and pulleys?
Perhaps he is a drag queen, and needs more room to get ready?
^^^ Tower crane is probably getting ready to come down.

The yellow crane was quite a bit smaller than the red tower crane. I assume the tower crane will lower itself to podium level, then the yellow crane will lift it and set it down.
Up to three cranes on site - couldn't quite fit the business end of the bigger two in this frame during my lunchtime walk today. No changes apparent yet to tower crane, but they were still setting up the chubby yellow one.
Tower crane is coming down now. Drove by about an hour ago. The boom and cab were down, counter weights were down and they were working on getting the rest of the boom part down.
I'd expect by later today she'll be on the ground.
Why are they taking the tower crane down before all the windows are hoisted up? Is it really that much more expensive to run a tower crane? I mean, this way they'll have to close down Assiniboine completely to use a ground level crane until they're done. I imagine tower hoisting would be safer as it gives unobstructed access to all sides of the building.
This is why I joined the forums. Construction questions like this.
They'll use the construction lift installed on the side of the building. Same will likely happen at TNS.
For the re-clads of 360 Main and 330 St. Mary, all work materials were brought up through the building elevators and through the interior office floor space.
I sure hope they don't block Assiniboine much longer. We only have one piece of real bike infrastructure downtown and it's been compromised for years. They aren't building the Garry lanes this year, Carlton lane is also partially blocked so really bike infrastructure downtown is worse now than it was a few years ago. They upgraded intersections at Assiniboine & Main and Assiniboine & Osborne - what was the point if you can't get down Assiniboine anyway?
^Add that to the fact the crossing at Main dumps you onto a narrow sidewalk that you're not even allowed to bike on...
Apparently talks with The Northwest Company have stalled. The Forks/City were going to connect it to the bike path leading into The Forks by taking back the fence and compensating NWC, but they're unwilling to give up parking spots, even for money back.
