Really happy with how this one is turning out, especially since it's extending the skyline south. Can't wait to see the finished result!

Old & the new. Great photo pwright! Wish Eastern Columbia were 20 stories higher. It would have been taller if not for the old 150' height limit rule. They had to work like heck to get a waiver for the clock tower to get it a bit over 200'. Maybe we'll see a tall well designed "neo" art deco (or neo gothic) in L.A. one of these days. Modern inside, retro outside. Would be great on Broadway where it would fit in with all the historic buildings and theaters. The public would love it. Hopefully a smart developer will see the light and build it.

A lot of the art deco looking skyscrapers in the Wilshire condo canyon area are exactly that - built in the last 20 or so years but well detailed enough to look like classic art deco...

Looks like they are still working on finishing touches on the crown. I really like that they included street fronting residential units on the parking podium. This should be a requirement moving forward to better activate the streets.
