Bland AF but at least it'll add some nice density to the area.

The site plan and elevations were posted to AULCC. It's still 16-stories, and the height including mechanical looks to be around 225' to 230'. But the elevations are not definitive about the overall height.

The site plan includes a tiny rendering. Not much, but it's all we got.

I get it. So if I posted a really big rendering, you would have used a large font.

If you read on the elevations, it mentions a linear LED strip along the roofline.

That will end up being a steady solid color, probably blue.

Also are they trying to copy 5th and Colorado with that blank wall. Another unused movie screen...

Maybe we could swap all these drive-thru banks for a couple of drive in movie theatres. You could have your popcorn brought to you by someone on a scooter.

They posted the site plan to the AULCC page today. There were some minor changes to the main roof height. I measured the mechanical, and it came to 223 feet.

Blech. This one gets the ole Bronx cheer from me. Sure would like a taller/prettier/sweeter smelling building in this spot.

Yeah. At best, it's one of those "but it's better than what's there now" kind of projects.

I get that I'm an over-entitled skyscraper enthusiast, but seriously Horizon Bank, couldn't you at least TRY to make it even somewhat exceptional?

Not everything needs to be a skyscraper. Midrises are good, and sometimes it's all a company has the money for. This is an improvement on what's there now.

As I understand it, they want to max out their base entitlements without using a city bonus so as to avoid the extra hoops. One would hope the city would make their bonuses as appealing as possible without the bureaucracy and nonsense so as to maximize community benefits but we have some work to do to get there or so it appears

An FAA filing for the building was made. It states the building height as 330'. I suspect that's a typo, and it should be 230'.
