Sorry this one is dead in the water the property was foreclosed on during the recession. This I don't think will ever happy hopefully a tower project of the same scale will go in there though

Mandarin Oriental failed a similar attempt in Chicago a few yrs back

Actually, the developer of this proposal has regained control of the site. The fact that "The Mansion" in Buckhead was converted to a Mandarin leads me to doubt it will ever be a Mandarin but it could be a similar project someday. I know that Intercontinental was looking to bring their brand to Midtown a few years ago so who nows?
