Surprisingly they didn't edit out their addresses in the video.
It's about time someone started asking the tough questions about the dealings of Katz, Sheegl, Shindico and others directly tied to the mayors office. It would also be interesting to hear why the majority of city council is so quiet on these matters. We've got Chicago politics at it's finest here folks!

Your right, I guess it was just a matter of time before their politics came here.

Umm.. It hasn't appeared on my credit card and I don't think it will since the actual transaction is there, but uh, just in case... If anyone got $60 worth of gas from pump 7 at the Co-Op on Archibald, you are very welcome...

this is an interesting chart.....13% of winnipeggers live in buildings 5 stories or taller....of the major cities, that ranks us only behind toronto, hamilton and ottawa.

as a percentage, more than twice that of calgary or edmonton and the same as vancouver.

It seems right to me. I recently spent a weekend across from Detroit and saw for myself how many 5+ storey apartment units your city has.

I read that on the Free Press last night and laughed my butt off! Sometimes I don't feel so bad having Mr. Katz as our mayor. At least he understands the concept of a map, at least I should hope so.

Although Katz was quoted in the Free Press saying that in school, we learn all the capitals of all the cities.... Say what?

So for a city such as St. Johns, which is it, the S or the J? The same question applies for San José.

wow shocked to see Ottawa was marginally ahead considering the city of Ottawa itself is dominated by multifamily units, but then if your factoring in the CMA which includes the ugly parts of the area such as kanata, orleans, gatineau , barrhaven and whatnot it equals out......ottawa always makes me laugh, a city of superb urbanism surrounded by a halo of cookie cutter suburban city/suburbs

You could say that about hundreds of North American cities.

Not saying the areas you mentioned as ugly are all super-pretty, but the "plus five storey" multifamily parts of Ottawa aren't usually the nicest areas of the city either. Especially not when you get above 10 stories.

the areas with the highest concentration of mid to high rise residential buildings are centre town, golden triangle, byward market, sandy hill, all of which are outstanding neighbourhoods,

if your referring to areas like south keys i see your point.....

sorry for turning western expresso into eastern ontario expresso, will stop now
