This is only temporarily, with COVID and the issue with inflation. It certainly will not last forever, and could even be on the upswing in a couple of years.

i'll disagree with that. getting a younger audience to come to games is getting harder and harder, older loyal folks are dying off. I've travelled to every JrA rink in MB, I know first hand based on the audiences I see.

Not sure why u trying to argue w me, I'm stating FACTUAL info from the MJHL. And didn't you even read the articles? NHL was about how at least 5 teams have attendance issues. And WHL article is from 2018!

I'm arguing with you, since you are incorrect. There always has been a handful of NHL teams with attendance issues, it's been that way since the original expansion over 50 years ago.

In other words, before COVID. The current drops in attendance have everything to do with a Worldwide pandemic, and recent inflation, and nothing to do with "trouble with attracting younger fans."

You're going on about how "loyal older fans" are dying off, yet at nearly every hockey and football game I have been to in the last 20 years, the average age of spectators is probably around 30. The life expectancy in Canada is roughly 82.

I live how central this project is. In the future it'll be a great community hub.

Those machines make it look small, definitely looks larger in person.
