it's entirely possible that cops in other cities didn't sit on their hands as much as CPD did in response to BLM.
as i said, it's not the most popular opinion around, but it's one that i think holds water based on observing the issue closely here in chicago.
you are free to disagree with it if you like. if you think you have a better theory for why homicides spiked +58% YOY in chicago in 2016, i'm sure the forum would like to hear it.
