GOLD COAST | Soul | 77 FLOORS

I don't know what most people are thinking but I feel this development doesn't do enough for the location. Thumbs up for the design, but if the development is marketed as ''The New Downtown'' for Surfer's Paradise, then I feel it should have been the tallest tower in the Gold Coast! In addition, as far as I know, they are regenerating the Esplanade to the front of the development, but not the whole street!

Feel free to leave comments on the development! What do you think of the design, location and scale?

The design isn't that great. I like Q1 more even though it cheats in height. It also looks out of place. Some highrises near it would look way better and maybe not so close to the beach since it will create huge shadows, block views, and add traffic to a tourist area.

No well I'd have to disagree with you on the design. It may not be perfection but I wouldn't say it would ruin the landscape either. I feel we need more towers like Soul to increase the density of the skyline. I guess I just like tall buildings

It doesn't look as massive as Q1. I think that it'll be a welcome addition to the skyline.
I don't see the urge to build taller than Q1.

Yeah, here in Seattle I'd love to see something pass the 200 meter mark! Actually, some of the smaller towers here look way better than taller ones and it's the same thing in Dubai.

This building just seems mehh... That's all I'm saying and I agree with Fabb (the second thing he said).

What's it's height, and how many floors does it have.

Q1

Okay now here's a question. Who prefers Soul and who prefers Q1 and why.

Oh, I thought this was some kind of new Gold Coast in SEOUL. There's more of them than just in Australia...

Soul and Seoul

I was referring to the new ''Soul'' tower development in the Gold Coast, Australia. Not Seoul in South Korea
