It looks like some of the towers along Gold Coast.
That is not a bad thing either. I like it, but it does bear a similarity.

nah its not similar to many GC buildings at all , most bear mostly concrete faces with balconies

tis similar to the Q1 i spose

Update

From Wikipedia, so take this at face value:

"on-site construction of the tower commenced in September 2007. The development is due for completion in late 2009 to early 2010"

This reminds me of the Emirates Park Towers for some reason. hmm..

It's nice and buildings like these should get more attention that let's say.....the Al Burj. I remember the first time I heard about this, I thought it was fake but it's not. Awesome.

That would be a stunning addition to the skyline.

If I just saw that pic, I would have said 600', but its obviously on a much larger scale.
