Crap, got sidetracked when I came into this thread to post.

Anyhow, it appears that TELUS Sky has topped off as I don't see any signs of new concrete pours happening anymore. Third tallest now, Calgary Tower eighth?

Apparently they're still pouring as the concrete pump is in action this morning.

It may not be 50kms of suburban garbage, it certainly looks like it is. Also telling people to move away if they don’t like something is a redneck type response. I’d rather people stay and try and make the city better rather than let it turn to a steaming pile of beige siding.

It's not a redneck response as there's far too many people who just like whining and not doing.

It would be more fun to get a good close up from a helicopter.

Anyone else love the Transformer vibes the tower is giving out ATM? My inner 7-year old is as jazzed as when Ghostbusters 2 came out!

Now that the tower is nearly completion, anyone else wanna help crowdfund a sequel by BIG of equal size and audacity for another part of the downtown?

We could look into getting a "big brother" for the Stantec tower in Edmonton - that would be so good for "him" to have a sibling.
