Hey, I hear there's a 542' building going up at Broad and Spruce! When do you guys think they're going to start drilling caissons?

Quite the opposite, actually. I've lived in Philly my whole life. And my only other encounters with public nudity were in my very limited time in NYC.

Getting pictures of this during site work is going to be tough because they have the site fence covered in fabric with very few gaps. It seems that they are working on underpinning the adjacent condo garage structure. There were markings along the party wall and all the digging activity is right near the property line. I saw 3-4 pieces of equipment and 3 construction guys on site talking.

There is an open stretch midblock. Hopefully it remains. I don't often post pics because the process for posting on this site is annoying, but I'll get some and post for the group next time I swing by.

I took some this morning and will post later, but I don’t think they are that good. The site is much more obscured than when I was there earlier in the week. Still probably give a better sense of the current hole than what has yet been posted here. And I walk by a lot and will continue to take pics if they have fencing opened when I walk by or if I’m at Kimmel for anything.

@jsbrook

Your photos look pretty good to me. I can't tell how much excavation was done though, meaning if that was already there or if they made cuts into the ground. Thanks for posting them.

Northern half of the property is largely as it has been. But the more recent photos show the digging moved over into the Southern half. That's all new. Hard to see with the angles I was able to given the fencing.

Thanks for the intel. I'll have to get over there soon to see for myself.
