We should also not forget, that there existed already several 100m+-chimneys at those days. The tallest in 1884 was the 138 metres tall chimney at Port Dundas ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Du...wnsend_Chimney ) built in 1859.

blahblahblah, poster inaccurate, blahblahblah. no ziggurats nor pharos of alexandria that i see, look how inaccurate and biased it is.
