I've been driving up Main around 9 pm most nights and I can see the crews still up there, working away. It looks impressive... frankly, I'd be happy if they just finished up the western half and left it that way for the winter!
That is exactly what they will be doing. Resuming work in March I believe.

I wonder why the white bands stop for three floors near the top, along the small part facing south. Looks odd. Can see it in one of the photos on previous page. But looking real nice overall!

The top floor (31) is mechanical and storage. No windows. Thus a different exterior look.
They are not talking about the top... about two thirds the way up the building on the south facing side there are three floors that have different panels... it looks like somebody screwed up...

Ya, it's about 8-10 floors from the top. The bottom picture shows it very well. And it's only on the narrow side facing south. And potentially on the even narrower side facing east where it abuts the other half of the building that is offset. Since they put the mullion caps(?) on, I would say it's permanent.
It's like the black bits to urban. I look at it everytime I drive by haha.
I'm not sure why they'd have a skinny piece of spandrel in that colour. I bet the glass maker sent them the wrong stuff. It won't take much to swap it out when they go around finishing the mullion cap.
