wow gorgeous photos -- i hear this is a relatively harsher winter than typical around there.

my spouse cancelled a visit to her toronto office branch, so the weather effects are definately felt elsewhere.

It hasn't really been brutally cold, but consistently below 0 and lots of snow. Typically toronto has a solid mix of below and above freezing days that keeps snow accumulation away. There haven't been a ton of -15 degree Celsius days either though.

We're slightly above the average snowfall (122 cm) for the season right now, with another 4-6 weeks to go, but I think people are being wusses about the severity. We've had far harsher winters in the past, and I think Buffalo, for one, regularly gets far more (lake-effect) snow.
