WELLINGTON | Pristine Paradise

The only reason I went to Wellington is because I felt that since I was already visiting Auckland, it would be worth seeing another city in New Zealand to get a more accurate representation of the county.

I'm so glad I went because Wellington was an incredible little city. The people were cool, the city was compact and urban, and the architecture had a lot of charm. The setting was unreal with beautiful views everywhere and stunning nature. I was not in town very long but I would definitely go back. Being there was so peaceful and relaxing it's the perfect place to seek refuge from all of life problems.

Wow! It's gorgeous. It looks like a small, clean, pristine version of San Francisco.

Beautiful! Yes, reminds of San Francisco, the cable car makes me think of Hong Kong.

I was also going to say "hey, it's a mini San Francisco." Not just the scenery but the architecture. Gorgeous city.

Very nice!! I was gonna say the same thing. It kinda has an American feel to it, but San Francisco is definitely a good choice. Definitely a place I'd love to visit!!

Nice pictures! Like others, the residential stock reminds me a lot of San Francisco. The commercial stock looks more Australian.

That Tinakori neighborhood looks pretty interesting!

I did not realize the city has such a dramatic topography, especially near the coastline. It looks like your visit was the perfect mix of urban and suburban exploration!

nice one. ive only been downtown welly, and was recovering from that ferry ride across the cantankerous straight so i didn't see much beyond down by the harbor.

like a lot of new zealand, it sort of felt like a california/uk mashup.
