I'm curious if there's going to be some kind of separate core for the portion of this project that abuts Watts Street. It sort of looks like it is shaping up that way.
On a second look from the project's IG account, it doesn't look like it will need a core because that's not part of where the tower will rise. Take a look at the cartoonist render. Behind the back of the tower will be a lower structure adjacent to the tower itself.

Yeah, I probably misspoke. Not necessarily a separate core, but it definitely looks like a separate structure. And like they may not dig down as deep for that part of the project.
At 22 seconds into the video on the front page of ArthausPhila.com, you can see what looks like alternative models of the building. Perhaps for massing, blocking, context.
Complete by May 2022 and occupancy in Fall 2022. Anyone remember when the CTC was just a hole and it said it would open late 2017? Here we are now and they're almost wrapped on construction. Anyways, finally more 500 footers in the skyline!
Today was Arthaus picture taking day - I do like that building cut-out on the sign. Maybe there is a little competition between Arthaus and The Laurel going on to finish first, after all, both are seeking the same market (wealthy folks).
I think they're lying. The actual site signs with the estimated completion date say 2022 (I forget what month), which is a far more realistic timeline for a building of this size. If they actually meet this marketing pitch in the billboard and people start moving in fall of 2021, great! But I'm not seeing it or counting on it.
