Thumbs up BALTIMORE | 300 East Pratt Street | 430 FT | FLOORS

Well after years and years of waiting, it looks like we finally get to see a rendering of the new 300 East Pratt Street tower for Baltimore's famed Inner Harbor.
It looks to be in the upper 500 ft. range.
However, this tower will be adding at least another 2 floors from latest press releases, so it will probably end up a little taller.
The design is "ok" IMHO.
Here it is:

I'd personally like to see another type of 'crown' other than this, "hat".
All and all, I'm pretty happy to finally see a rendering. It looks like these developers are pretty serious about getting this tower up asap.
10 Inner Harbor is in no danger of losing the height battle here. It will end up probably being over 150 ft. to 200 ft. taller than this 300 East Pratt tower. We shall see.....

Yeah, it's a go.
It's expensive, ($400 million+), and still a lot of figuring is going into the proportioning of the retail and condos and all. They are very commited.
Should end up being a 60+ floor tower in the mid to upper 700 ft. range when finished.

yeah, it does. 300 east pratt, 10 Inner Harbor, Westport tower, Naing's two tall towers, Cordish tower, One Light Street and the 4 seasons towers at Harbor East should give Baltimore a whole new and improved look.
Not to mention about 15 other high-rises planned to go along with these others.

Hey, I really like that. It reminds me of Dallas' Victory development. I agree that the crown should be a little more stylish. I like the rest of the building, though.

Do you have a rendering/picture of the Dallas Victory Development? I'd like to see it.

Here is the W Dallas Victory Hotel & Residences which wrapped up construction last year.
http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/sh/?...&button=Search

It's part of the Victory Park development. This project will have office, hotel and residential. Anyway, there's 43-story hotel/condo tower.

Victory Tower. There may be more renderings in the Dallas/Fort Worth Superthread. I seem to remember it looked a little different than this in an aerial rendering of it. It's supposed to be 650 feet. The entire project is being designed by HKS, Inc.

Finally we get to see what 300 east pratt will look like. I dont know but I kind of like the top it has on now although a crown top might make it look a little bit taller. Does anyone know when they'll start construction on this? After or before 10 IHs assumed construction date?

I like the look of the building. However, I hope they build much of the parking under ground. It looks like the first several floors may be a parking garage. It's hard to tell. Is this going to be a condo or office building?

If its 50+ floors, than it should look a lot taller than that. That rendering looks smaller than the Legg Mason(529ft) and should look a lot taller. That rendering is probably an old one.The 300 East Pratt St should range from 550 ft to 675 ft with each floor ranging from 11ft to 13.5 ft each.I'd doubt that each floor will exceed 13.5ft considering that its not going to be an ALL-office building

That design is old and a totally different architect is designing the tower now. I was told that we can expect a nice crown on a beautifully designed building.

The new design should be heads and shoulders better than that "flat hat" design.
