I think they were planning on vines crawling up trellises, rather than silvaculture blocks across the whole face of the cubes.

Seems like all the angled beams had another beam that sits on top of it at an angle. Not sure of the purpose.

I suppose it could help transfer the load (back to the anchor point?) like the top beams on a truss bridge
(I see similar angles in the pic below) then the horizontal beam just levels the floor.

Maybe it had to do something with how the different beam elements were joined together.

I think the angles help transmit the tension through the beams.

Will Deloitte be occupying the office space of this building? Currently they are at the building attached to Holt Renfrew, and also going to occupy the former Tom Lee building on Granville (weird location for an accounting firm).

What on earth are you talking about?

KPMG is in 777 Dunsmuir, attached to Holt Renfrew.

Deloitte has moved from Bentall IV to a temp location in a Spaces co-working office until their new office in 410 is done.

Oh yes, KPMG is the one at 777 Dunsmuir: my mistake. As for Deloitte, seems like quite a lot of unnecessary moving around to me!

Yes, seriously. But if you already know they are, a simple "Yes" would suffice.

Also, KPMG just finished a few months ago a complete reno of there 777 Dunsmuir offices so they are not moving any time soon from that location which many of there staff love.

It's not unnecessary if your lease runs out and the landlord won't grant you an extension to match up with your new building...

Thanks for the update, McMinsen. Steel buildings sure are more interesting to watch being built than concrete.
