SAN ANTONIO | 1210 E. Elmira | 8 Floors | 109 FEET | Approved

This project received initial approval from the HDRC today:

https://www.bizjournals.com/sananton...-approval.html

"Oxbow Development Group's new hotel project — planned for a spot across the river from Hotel Emma — passed the Historic and Design Review Commission (HDRC) through consent on Wednesday. The approval brings Silver Ventures' real estate arm closer to building the 8-story, 151-room hotel at 1210 E. Elmira St. The firm recently indicated that it's targeting start of construction in late 2024, a delay from its previous projections of early 2024...Oxbow's HDRC application for conceptual approval indicated that the building would be constructed using brick that would match the Pearl's look and mass timber. The project is currently called "Grove Hotel," according to the application documents, though that name is tentative."

Very nice. The roofline could be a little snazzier, but otherwise it looks pretty good.

Not many details on this but it looks like another application has been submitted to the HDRC calling for a 6-story apartment building adjacent to the hotel. It is being called "Coopers Row North" in the documents.

The hotel is still happening. Look back at the plans for the hotel and you'll see a separate smaller building on the Schiller St side of the block. That's the apartment component, they've just submitted it for approval separately.

Yeah I’m aware of that it’s just they’re showing the address / parcel photos of where the hotel is supposed to be. The original showed two smaller residential buildings on 1202 E. Elmira so I’d thought they still be separate addresses.

What you’re saying does make sense though given the hotel was just approved so I can revise the post - either way a 6 story apartment building is in the works for the site which will be interesting to see
