The mechanical floors, particularly towards the top, mar an otherwise stunning building, when looking from the south side.

Wait, they're not going to do anything more to conceal the mechanical floors? I know the blow-through floors are staying, but what about the un-glassed mechanical floors lower down?

Correct. We don't know of any plans to alter the current louvre design.

The mechanical floors on this thing get uhhh.. plenty of feedback on here.

I wish KG would just donate the money to build over the train tracks. They can call it th Ken Griffin Parkway. Yet another thing he will have his name on.

Aon Center is still a beauty, for sure. Vista compliments it well.

I have been coming here for years and I have learned a good deal.

These images by LeBaron give me a better appreciation for how Vista may have an

unexpectedly interesting effect on this glorious skyline.

Those dark bands make a dramatic echo of (what will always be to me) the Sears tower.

I have a desire to see more contrasts between the tones(?) and colors of buildings and

this recent trend toward blue-green slickness needs to be broken up with deeper color

and these bands across Vista give me hope.

I have been saying cover the tracks for years.

Ill likely be dead before it happens though. Lightfoot wants nothing to do with that.

Well put. It's worth appreciating the positive impact of the louver scheme than to denigrate it right off the bat.

Blow through getting better, but come on with the Mechanical Floors.

How on earth can you have this huge, expensive, beautiful building and let this happen?
