I was driving down the Okopowa street the other day, when I noticed another construction site. I had only a few seconds to look at the rendering displayed, but it seemed like the building would be around 20 storeys tall. Does anyone have any info on it? DocentX: maybe you? You seem to know everything.

Christian Kerez, assistant professor at the ETH and Christian Kerez in Zürich, was awarded the first prize at the Architecture competition for the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Poland. Libeskind, a juror at that competition on the scheme: "...it's a wonderful and avantgarde building and it fits nicely to the neighboorhood of the (stalinist) Culture and Science Palace..."...
The Museum at the Plac Defilad, which is undergoing a transformation to become an agora (...) is scheduled to open 2010. Christian Kerez previously has designed and built together with Morger Degelo from Basle, the Liechtenstein Museum of Art.
It needs a lot more refinement. Right now looks too brutally minimal. It does define street edges and spaces well, but so would any other similarly configured box.
