Great photos. What do you use to stitch them together? If you upload the originals I can try re-stitching them with autopano.

I use the Canon program that comes with the camera. Here's the originals though. I think the main problem was a slight angle change;

I think the problem is when the camera position changes. It's easy to correct for orientation.

Still, I'll have a look when I get home..

(by the way, to try stitching I'd need the original image files with Exif header)

I don't think they were taken from the top, as there is a rule that you have to be at least 10/12 feet back from the edge at all times (I *have* been to the top before a couple times myself). If you look, that white bit along the bottom right corner is one of the slanted facade bits below one of the balconies- if you look at the 2 side by side, the balcony levels on the top of tower 2 are level with the very top of tower 1.

I have friends in high places

And yes Halistreaks is correct in that they were not taken from the roof. Instead they were from the 21st Floor balconies.

Wow! I never noticed that there was no real railing or wall around the roof. It just drops right off.

yes it does haha.... and does it ever make you queasy looking over the side lol. When I was up, buddy who was with me was on his phone not paying attention to what I was doing, and he went around the bit on the top to get out of the wind, and I went right up to the edge to sneak a peak... freaky... haha.

Hmmm, I know this guy, but never had any idea he and his family were such a bunch of shutterbugs! Some of the vintage family photos are wonderful for someone of my generation, exactly the way I remember growing up.

Everything just looks so much darker, dirtier and cheaper. Could just be the picture, but you're probably right. I wasn't trying to be insulting.
