The renders make it look like tower is fairly big floorplate wise but looking at it's skeleton taking form it's going to look pretty narrow.

The southern podium wing looks to be a typical reinforced concrete structure. It begs to question that the more convention residential floors will be concrete too. They don't require the column free spans of the commercial floors.

Yes but the whole design is based off of the external skeleton.

let's hope for 2 more months of pretty decent weather so we can get some good progress on these towers.

LED lighting features are always tested at 100% to begin with. That will be turned down on actual implementation.

Is it time to revisit the list if Eau du Soleil and CIBC Square are topped out and most work is done? I'm eager to see a Montreal project squeeze onto the list

Here is the latest diagram: http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?searchID=91051985

It takes 215 metres to get on to the list, so Montreal is still shut out for now...

The design looks like it has been value engineered from the first renderings for this plan.
I would argue that there IS NO neighbourhood at this time. They are only getting started on redeveloping the area. Trinity Station will be the linchpin of the future Lebreton/Bayview area as it sits over the junction of two light rail lines, and it is a perfectly scaled development considering the plans for the area. It will hardly look out of place in 20 years when there are many 45 story plus towers around it. I also can not comprehend how you consider the final renders indicative of 'value engineering'. The renders look great. If they go with quality glazing and cladding this will be a fine looking development that would look great in any large Canadian city.

Considering the amount of proposals and the amount of construction in this city, the height of the towers on the bottom half of the list are pretty underwhelming.

It's pretty impressive IMO, the heights are pretty high all around.

Yesterday, taken off my cell phone

I took these a few hours ago of One Bloor, it's really quite the site...and the concrete box to the west is getting big:

The building is above ground, and the core, branded and all, is now going to be rising;
