Crofton, small town where i have been living. Part of the Cowichan Valley which has a population around 80,000. Crofton is only maybe just over 1000 people, one gas station kinda town.
salt spring island in the background - Crofton is also the place where one would catch a ferry to get to Salt Spring.

some pics of Duncan - the population is only around 5000 but it is the commercial hub for the cowichan valley and is the only real big city in the CV. Most of these were taken when the shops etc had closed for the day. During the business day its a lot busier. Duncan is about 10 minutes southwest of Crofton, its not on the sea a little bit more inland but only minutes away from the sea.
