Yeah it's probably just an optical illusion or the fact that it is closer to I35 when viewing it from the east and therfore seems taller!

To those who take pictures of Austin or report on it, I have a question. Did they remove the crane for Four Seasons Hotel+ Residences?

The Four Seasons Residences building looks nothing like this rendering of it.

Yeah. It was first proposed back in 2000. They told me the height of it would have been 328 feet tall with 28 floors. I did like that design though. The funny thing is though, The Monarch's design is very similar to it.

Actually, I think a neo-classical split pediment and a modern butterfly roof are about as different as you can get for a non-flat roof.

I see these photos throughout various Austin forums. However they are different for each update as various structures under construction rise.

I like the glass for this project; and amount of it when complete.
