I had a small mason jar of WTC "dust" that I saved from the hood of a car on Canal Street about a week or so after 9/11. This morning, I stood in the footprint of the North Tower, 11 years ago, it would have been me walking up from the concourse and taking an elevator to the 78th floor lobby. Today, I released that jar of dust into the North Pool, returning it to the space from which it came.

I'll never forget the fine people I worked with. Sometimes I never think I'll come to terms with what happened, but it's a new day, and time to move forward.

Never forget.

(my photo, December 22, 1999).

For those looking for more great pictures of the Twins, this site has many photographs, including this one I had not seen before:

http://www.greatbuildings.com (Also a fabulous resource for other valuable information involving the Twin Towers and thousands of other buildings.)

This picture to me sums up just how magnificent the Twins were. I have a similar one in storage somewhere. A memory I will never forget.

Here a few videos by this guy. Really shows how great these towers were. Hopefully the "Titanic" theme song doesn't annoy anyone.

The videos were great, but I wish he had used some different soundtracks. Nothing against the theme from Titanic, but some variety of music would have helped.
