As one can see, post tension concrete structures can rise rather quickly.

A gem for your skyline

This is beautiful, and y'all should be so thankful that it's still going up in this economy. I love Charlotte and tried really hard to move there. (I ended up on Philly instead, happy, but cold). I'm a bit jealous of this building. We were supposed to have something similar called Mandeville Place that went the way of the housing market. Very happy for you Charlotte. P.S. Do you have an idea of the price range for the units?

Sounds like the spires were scrapped due to their cost. I heard they were rumored to be about $1M a piece? Too bad though, they would have looked pretty cool.

Without the spires, what will be the official height?

Photo updates please?

I have recently seen the proposals for the trump. Is that still going to be built?

Thanks for the updated pics. It looks like The Vue has reached around 340 feet, since it appears to be slightly taller than what appears to be the Odell plaza, (that building nearby with the pyramid roof).

Odell is a good 3 or so diagonal blocks behind Vue, though.

The pictures of the light snow around The Vue add a nice touch, I think.

I'm not sure when it is supposed to top out. Completion date is early 2011. The tower is a little over halfway now.
