The Austin skyline is massive. I sent a photo of it to a friend who moved to Florida about 15 years ago. He's still doubting that it's really Austin.

Yep. There are plenty of photos that show the skyline as it looks today that would stump most people who hadn't seen it in years. This photo below for example - there are only three high rises visible in this photo that were finished before 2003. The One American Center on the far left side, 300 West Sixth below and to the right of it, and the Chase Bank Tower about half an inch to the right - above the "Austin" in Austin High School. 300 West Sixth was completed in 2002.
