SA aims for 20,000 jobs in 2010

After Thursday's speech, Castro cited several reasons for his optimism: the emergence of Centro Partnership, a public-private partnership intended to coordinate downtown development efforts; an investment incentive package, set to go before the City Council on Feb. 4, that Castro said could save developers as much as $500,000 in impact fees for projects in the city's urban core; and his sense that San Antonio will be able to persuade companies to relocate here.
