The wife and I went down to Kerrville this past weekend for my folks' 50th birthdays. On Saturday, we braved the heat and had a picnic at Kerrville's "urban" park along the Guadalupe river:

7. There were plans to turn this trail into a boardwalk, but unfortunately there was insufficient funding so those plans have been shelved indefinitely.
8. A gap in the trail forced us to take a quick detour up to street level. . .

11. . . . the famous Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library! (named for H-E-B founder Howard E Butt and somebody named Holdsworth)

15. The intersection of Water St. and Sidney Baker. The larger building is a former hospital being redeveloped into mixed use by an SA developer, and the smaller building is an old soda fountain/antique store.
