Great pictures. This is going to be one fantastic building once completed. I would love to have something similar constructed in Toronto.

Love, love, LOVE the transparency of the cladding so far.

London has so many recent examples of high quality skyscrapers. The Gehrkin, the Shard, 20 Fenchurch, and this Cheese grater. Much of what is proposed looks great as well.

I'd love to see this one facing the East river in Downtown Manhattan.

Amazed by the quality of London's skyscrapers. Even though they don't have density it just goes to show that they are going for quality instead of quantity. Even for a relatively small building (224m), what a great design... In other cities you would probably get a box xD (yes Toronto is a bit guilty on that but we are turning it around with recent proposals).

The credit goes to Londoners. They're known for coming up with "cute" names for their stand-out projects. I think 20 Fenchurch is already referred to as the Walkie-Talkie or something like that.

I'm more a fan of this than I am of The Shard (which isn't to say that's not quality architecture because it is). Truly an amazing and quality piece of architecture.

The more I see this, the more I think it's the best of the new skyscrapers under construction in London. I would welcome any and all of them along with the Gerkin in Toronto, but I like the brute power this one exudes.

Transparency's more relevant here than in any other case I've ever seen. The sophistication of the steel structure will remain visible behind the glass. That structure has to be the main aesthetic ingredient. It sure is gonna work, that thing is gonna be epic.
It appears indeed superior to the Shard.
