^ Excellent photos Signal, especially on the previous page of Bell island. I have only been there once and that was years ago. The Portugal Cove pics are especially nice too.

The supposed story of those houses; it's a duplex built for two sisters, each one wanted a different style, so the one on the left is Victorian (maybe Gothic or Queen Anne), and the one on the right is Second Empire/Southcott.
