Thanks for the post. I watched them take down the hoarding and scaffolding over the last couple weeks. Looks nice and shiny up there.
Is it some type of a stucco finish? Or is it actually panels of some kind? I would think stucco or similar finish as it was enclosed in hoarding. I'd suspect they wait until warmer times to finish the rest of the building if that's the case.
he Bockstael 290 Colony team in collaboration with our trade partner Modern Acrylic developed an engineered hoarding system to be installed on the FRACO work platforms. This allowed EIFS work to be completed in winter months on 4 building elevations in a controlled environment, greatly improving the project schedule.
From far away the building is looking great, really nice to have another big (white) residential building there with Downtown Commons and Colony Square.
However, the quality of the finished walls looks dreadful.
Actually, I don't think that that's the finished version because if you look at the other walls, you can see vertical lines as though there's some kind of siding. I could be wrong but it would be odd to do all of the building except one wall face that way.

That is not the finished product. As spocket mentioned, another layer to go overtop. Look at the flashing at the top.
Hard to tell in those photos what is finished and what is not. There's some kind of grey going on over on the other wall.
The grey was what was there before the white. All those ugly white parts from my photo are the top layer over the insulation and grey stuff, that's why I thought it could be the final layer... guess there's just lots? I wonder if it's going to be similar to the stuff on Buhler.
