Yeah, but Vancouver and Minneapolis are very different from Winnipeg...the city of Winnipeg has a greater population than either Minneapolis or Vancouver (city proper; not metro), but as a whole, Van/Min and Winnipeg are on two different levels. I think the largest region outside Winnipeg is Selkirk, right? Which is some 10 000 people? Whereas Vancouver and Minneapolis have many regions with tens of thousands of people living in 'em.

But your point about the co-existing, I do understand. Just wondering if the fact Winnipeg's Metro isnt even close to Min or Van affects it at all?
