On the way home tonight, I noticed they had raised the crane for 360! Coming in on 290 this afternoon it was looming tall on the horizon, and I could tell right away that it had been raised. Also, they've topped off the 40th floor, officially tying Austin with San Antonio and Fort Worth at the moment for most number of floors. I can't believe that. I couple of years ago I would have laughed at the idea.

Shot from I-35 this evening. I hadn't even noticed at first that they had also put up the crane for Spring (far left). Man, our skyline is really growing! Photo from 10/7.

The crane is supposed to be 600 feet tall by the way. In that shot you can see 5 residential highrise projects in various stages of construction. There's also another one on the way which will be visible also here.

They've also zoomed out on the 360 web cam and it shows Spring's crane going up also.

Check out the 1:53 pm image for best lighting. You can see the whole crane now, plus Spring's crane and part of The Monarch.

Austin is lookin' sharp! Amazing that all these condo projects are rolling in downtowns all over the world.

I can't wait to see the renders on those 700' towers!

360 shots from 10/19.

They were on the 42nd floor starting on the 43rd floor. Currently the 43rd floor is half finished with the floor of the 44th floor being poured. By the way, the crane is apparently 600 feet tall.

From Town Lake Park.

I didn't notice, but they were lifting some a piece of construction equipment, one of those trailers.

Frost Bank Tower anticipating the impending end as Austin's tallest.

From the Ann Richards Bridge. 360 construction, along with the crane for Spring, The Monarch (with crane) and AMLI II wrapping up construction.

From Palmer Events Center.

From Auditorium Shores. For anyone who's wondering, I was standing at the Stevie Ray Vaughan statue.

From the east at 3rd & Guadalupe Streets.

Standing tall over AMLI II from the 2nd Street District.

From the north along Nueces Street. This is one cool view of the building.

From Rio Grande St... near 5th and 6th Streets:

Along Lamar Blvd (near MLK)

From N-central Austin
