So when do they start construction on the space elevator for 3344 Peachtree...or is that completely unrelated?

I found out why it would be tethered in the ocean.... in case the tether and anything riding up it wanted to come down. Put that over land and something falling from 62,000 miles up would probably make a helluva dent.

Space elevators also have to be situated on the equator so that the station above can maintain orbit above a single point.

Back to the subject... when is 3344 gonna get it's organic sexy shape? Right now it looks pretty plain and boring.

Gorgeous. I can't wait to see the residential portion take shape.

Personally I think 3344 has a better (more interesting) design, however, it would be hard to top the luxury the Mansion will provide (check out the new updated Mansion website if you haven't already and you'll see what I mean).

WOW! thanks for the update DOTE, it's good to see the residential portion rising so quickly - i haven't seen any updates since the accident several weeks back.

This building is so amazing!

Before it was built, the renderings had convinced me that the glass treatment was going to be stunning. As it first started going up, the glass looked like it wasn't anything special. However, now that there is several floors of it, I'm once again in awe. It's beautiful!

I'm looking forward to seeing this upon completion. It's going to be a fantastic addition to Atlanta's fast growing skyline. Props to Dote for the updates!

Yea, when the skin gets done its gonna be the best looking in Buckhead, if not Atlanta as a whole. The curtain wall is classy and simple, just the way I think a building in Buckhead should look, and what I hope the future of ATL will look like. We have a trend right now for blue and greeen glass, it seems to look really good in an area totally surrounded by trees. I love it.

From N. Druid Hills Rd, this building will make one hell of an impact (if it hasn't already)
