^^^ Here's a video of the dipshits in the act:

Not sure exactly what their plan was. The comments on reddit suggest multiple people have already snuck into the project after dark and use, you know, the STAIRS, to reach the upper levels.

I must say when I was watching this rise as a windowless tower, I thought this would turn out to be too much of a wall. But with the cladding changing colour and the undulations in the form it helped break up the wall, making this tower to be an impressive piece of architecture. I am glad that Chicago is still producing architectural wonders! Well done!!

Embrace your geek - more people than you think find this stuff if not fascinating at least interesting. I am well known in my office as the dude who takes pictures of the buildings, I have found one co-worker is with the Architecture foundation, and another into Prairie school buildings. I often get questions about what this or that project is, sometimes from people who I would not have expected.

A DSLR marks you as a "real" photographer, and greatly changes how people perceive your actions.

Didn't think I was going to like this building but wow - I was wrong. Looks stunning.

Another amateur question. Since the crane is coming down does the glass come up in skip's or is the freight elevator already up and running?

The glass almost always comes up in the skips. It typically does not fit in an interior elevator and the elevators are not running in time to use the elevators for glass deliveries.

Still no word/gossip/rumors about the glass for the lobby level bump out? I am really curious about that. I see punch lists on hotel room windows so they are clearly doing interior work on the lower floors.

Are the unable / unwilling to put the glass in due to the risk of something falling from above? I know that lobbies are frequently the last to get finished, but it's looking pretty raw.

I noticed it a few hours ago. Looks like I'll miss my chance to scale it (LEGALLY) of course, ha.

Turned out much better than the renderings. Solid in its color.

It's a super funky design on the renderings. With the way this building has been going, I'd wager they are straight up unable to put the glass in at this point
