From my apartment view in the Civic Center the building is now higher than the "jukebox".

View from the Leatherneck Restaurant

Some nice views from the restaurant on the 12 floor which I had not been to before. 706 Mission St. is in the center of the photo.

^^I never knew there was a restaurant there (Marines Memorial Club) open to the public. I've been to a "Dining In" (formal assembly/meal of a unit's officers) there but it seems to me it was on a lower floor.

I made a reservation on Open Table. Window seats are first come basis. Go for a late lunch to be certain of a window table. Food is decent. A skylight brings in a lot of sunlight. On the top floor which is the 12th.

Im glad SF has enough of a stock of classic buildings to offset all of the contemporary architecture...
