For god sakes, maybe they could make that intersection a tiny bit uglier by re-locating the freaking Laval Clocktower of doom there! Like an architectural Murphy's Law.

Yes brutal indeed, like the rest of the tour! Or the Dixie Mall as a matter of fact

It almost looks like the apartment portion is a separate building behind an office building.

This is true, looks like a Weston RD monstrosity (ala Country Club Towers).

Proof that that is one building, just in case someone needs it.

Even worse are the insides

And somehow even more worse than both those two things combined, is the food.

It should be noted that pretty much all family restaurants suck (for example the equally godawful Perkins, Humptys, ABC Country Restaurant, and Rickys

Indeed, Castlegar doesn't have a KFC or Taco Bell. However you do have the far superior A&W.

Haha yes you are correct! A real Mexican restaurant would be even better but i'd take both. Another reason for our neighbours to come to Castlegar lol!

As much as the food sucks sometimes your gutworm does crave KenTacoHut!

As I concur "Family restaurants" are the worst. The phrase Jack of All Trades, Master of None springs to mind but old people love 'em which is why they stay in business... How do I know? It was my 97 year old grandma's favorite chain besides Humpty's and this from a woman who admitted she always hated cooking. So you know she loves a banal hospital grade warmed mashed potato with gravy and turkey dinner...
