SAN ANTONIO | Elmira Apartments | 7 FLOORS | 88 FEET | U/C

I hadn't seen a thread specifically for this project yet so I thought I'd make one for people to post their updates to down the line. It was mentioned that a crane was already up for this one which I did get to see in-person the other day.

I got the elevation and other info from the OHP document above

I had seen a tower crane for this one and also for the apartments across the highway (off N. Alamo). There was a smaller crawler crane set up for the apartments off of E. Josephine which already has foundations being built, but there is not one there for the 11 story building yet

Gotcha, had been seeing mixed posts on whether it was for this project or the 11 story one. Thanks for clearing it up!

No problem! I also got a tad confused (not to mention them having such similar names lol) Hopefully we will see the 11 story have a crane soon though!

Yes it is separate , this project is now called Elmira apartments while the larger building will be known as just “Mira” (as far as I know that is). It’s also confusing because they are both going to be off of E. Elmira street, but this one will intersect with E. Park Ave. while the other one (Mira) will intersect with E. Myrtle.

The dark red one on the right is this project that just put a crane up. Lighter red in the middle is the 11 story one that's in site prep or might have broke ground recently (I think?)

Well, there's the tower crane front and center (for the Mira?). Is the crane for Elmira a crawler? If so, maybe that's it on the left?

The tower crane in the foreground is for Elmira apartments (the 7 story one), in the background to the right of the Credit Human hq you can faintly see another crane which is for Encore lower broadway (a 5 story I think).

The crawler crane I saw (can’t see it from this angle) was for The Josephine Apartments (the 6 story) which currently has its first floor being worked from the looks of it.

And from what I could see they haven’t yet started work on Mira (the 11 story)
I’m pretty sure it’s only been site prepped

Nothing much to see on this one yet besides the crane. Nothing vertical I could see through the fence anyway.

Is this what I see on the TXdot webcam (which for some reason I can't post a link to)?
