^ I don't think anything beats it really. As iconic as the Empire State is (I call it the world's greatest skyscraper) I don't think there's a building that has a stronger identity with the city of occupies.

Does anyone have a chart or height index, kind of like the Bank of America's where it shows the height dementions of this building. I am very curious as to where the 925 foot mark is.

I have seen that graph before, thanks for the though! Too bad there is not one in high resoluation...

Are there any photos of the Chrysler building before the spire but complete to the roof? I guess I am curious as to what it was actually supposed to look like without the spire at 925' before it was competing with the 927' 40 Wall Street in Lower Manhattan.

The Chrysler, along with the Empire State Building and American International Building are the best Art Deco skyscrapers ever built!
