Actually, I was just going by a zipfile video someone sent me a number of weeks back. It is not current. I was merely trying to give a tip for a potential location.

Given that I was staying at the Delta when I visited the RWB there was no need to drive and use the parkade. Windchills of -30 are still quite walkable. Unless of course you are acclimatized to Toronto winters...

I still have some pictures from my first SSP photothread around that time that I snapped on a 35mm camera. Then a week later once they were developed, I laboriously scanned and uploaded them, one by one

You can see the blue crane. Is that good enough? I'm not going outside.

^ We have our new Sutton Place photo contributor! haha

I find it interesting the piles are left sticking 6'-8' out of the ground like that. Seems excessive for them to cut of teat much steel. I wonder if they'll be formed into, or become part of, the actual building?

^ Nice improvement already. Those little slits make it look very jail-like... increasing the size of the windows will really change the character of the building for the better.

I'd love to hear the rationale for why it was originally designed with such tiny windows...

No those are shoring piles for shoring the excavation.

Ya just seems like a lot of wasted steel if they need to be cut down to grade. Contractors are usually pretty good about ordering only what they need.

Its hard to tell from the photo, but they stick up as high as the site office trailers from what I can see here.

I asked somebody that was involved with the building years ago about that, and was told being Doctor Offices they did not need natural light but wanted to have a constant electrical illumination.

I was also told there was more plumbing roughed in than a normal building to allow water and sinks for hand cleaning etc in more areas as the type of Doctor in each unit moved in and out.
