Does anyone have an update on how sales are going at the south tower? It seems like it was a couple months ago by now when Novare was reporting 50% sold, and they've also said they'd start the north tower when sales reached 80% at the south tower. Have sales slowed down that much that they are still waiting for 80% after hitting 50% in the first few weeks?

I had the exact same thought... or maybe they've reached the 80% but it's come so slow they're afraid to commit on the second tower? I sure hope this isn't like 90% of planned multiple-phase developments where only the first phase gets built.

It will look horrendous if the north tower isn't built.

It will. However, if you have a north facing unit in the south tower, your view gets f****d.

Obviously you would know that beforehand.

Yes, when I was considering purchasing at the south tower several months ago the sales staff were very up-front about that. There wasn't any effort to conceal or downplay it.

Yeah I know. What my statement meant was that people who buy condos for the view tend to bitch and moan when another tower goes up beside it (which is definitely obvious to anyone with an IQ of 40+ with 12CP).

Excellent, Joe! It's hard to tell from the angle of the web cam, but I think your photos show that it's now taller than the Southern Co. building across the street!

Have they topped out yet??? If you count from the first glass floor to the top it's only 13 floors, so is there a hidden floor of office underneath?? They should of already started on the 14th floor if there was to be another floor.

It's topped out as far as I can tell. The 1st floor is below grade on the Ivan Allen Side.

It appears that the current height of the tower crane is going to be the final height of 12CP give or take, which is taller than I expected. I must agree that the other half must ge built or it would look horrible form the connector (because of the hotel and how it is positioned to be the first thing you see).

I wouldn't be surprised to see them start on the 2nd tower once the hotel part of the project is complete.

I might be incorrect but I'd say the tower crane still has about another 12 stories to rise. CP12 is 10 floors taller than the summit building next to it plus the point is another 40-50 feet right?

They have about 17 more floors to go, and that's about how tall the tower portion is now (not counting the wider lower level floors-it's actually at about floor 22 or 23 now). So, the slender tower portion of the building will eventually be twice as tall as it is right now.
