Photoshop work to indicate a possible placeholder for artwork-- note the paint drips the size of a person, etc.

Icon's early renderings didn't include the same mural. They were later updated once the artist/mural was set.

It looks oddly similar to their recent project posted on Instagram.

Turns out the center portion of the garage wall on the West Peachtree side of Anthem is animated (the portion that's set in from the rest of the facade). Those thousands of little panels move to simulate a waterfall. They're testing it now.

Yeah, it's pretty cool, the finishes on that are high quality. That stretch of W. Peachtree from Ponce through 7th is going to be an amazing transformation, and one of the denser parts of Midtown.

I don't think it will be too long before parts of Spring and West Peachtree are better than Peachtree itself.

I mistook that wall for something that can be controlled, but it seems to be driven by wind.

Correct. I believe they are individual metal panels, nothing electronic about it. Jwbab had some good photos and a video of them.

I found this on Chris Bender's site this morning, surprised no one has reposted it- people are usually pretty quick about reposting stuff from his site.

Some of the renderings are new, or at least new to us.

The proposal that was presented to the Midtown DRC is 51-stories and just 200,000 sf of office space. But I could see them increasing the height if they signed a large office tenant.

On second thought, it looks like the major difference is in the middle section: the hotel component. In which case I seriously doubt that the taller tower is the version that Selig is currently proposing.

I always imagined there was a possibility that 1125 can increase in height if they wanted more office space in the development. I don't know if those renderings are up to date or not. I hope. I would love a 800-900 footer right there. Imagine what the skyline views from Lake Clara Meer would look like.

I'm afraid that once a building is under construction its pretty much impossible to make it taller. Foundations are only designed to support so much load--
