What is it with Atlanta and these weirdly configured parcels....?
It's an existing rectangular shaped parking lot. What's weird about that configuration, NY?

So they have painted the Darlington. Being an older building, this could potentially be a really nice reno.

Atl, I should have phrased it as weirdly configured developments on parcels in which the developments do not relate to each other at all, per the parcel next to the newly assembled one. As you can see, the developments look jumbled and do not relate to each other at all. This is pretty typical in Atlanta. I wonder does Keane plan on addressing this in his zoning rewrite?

Private rooftops for the top floor units. They did the same thing on their new Modera Reynoldstown property. Pretty unique but at an extra $200-$300/month premium in rents with rooftops it certainly pays for itself over time.

Buckhead church plans redevelopment to include apartment tower

https://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/...Pos=3#cxrecs_s
Quote:
A prominent Buckhead church wants to redevelop part of its Peachtree Road campus into an apartment tower, office space and for-sale housing.

Wieuca Road Baptist Church, now known as Church at Wieuca, said today it is working on a master plan for its 12-acre property at 3626 Peachtree Road. The church stands in the shadow of the 3630 Peachtree tower and across the street from Phipps Plaza.

Atlanta developer Greenstone Properties was chosen as its development partner.

AMAZING, I remember when Plaza Towers (foreground) and the Lenox Towers across from Lenox were the only high-rises in Buckhead. Yes I am showing my age. But, nonetheless, it is stunning what has transpired here and continues too.
