Good god this thing is tall, wonder how long we'll have to wait (if ever) for something to surpass it

You already have one proposal that's taller, though just barely, Tower Fifth.

I don't think it will be long either. Tower Fifth being one candidate. I hope 350 Park holds promise. A lot can happen on a side note with the Midtown Rezoning. Next ultra-luxury boom (as this one is cooling/soft at the moment)... could see further monoliths. But I'd look at office IMO Zapatan or office/mixed-use functionality for the next super towers.

Hopefully 80 South kicks up in some form.

Sorry if this has been asked already....So what's been the hold up with the last little bit of cladding on this building? I feel like the exterior progress here and on 111 W 57th has looked almost the exact same since like October or so at least...

350? Isn't that shorter, around 1,450 to the tips?

I was thinking Grand Hyatt but who knows...

Yea, something that seems more likely to happen though, but it still could I guess (with a changed design please god)

Tomorrow they're breaking ground on a 63 kilometer high stratosphere scraper, it's all over the news.

I think we are at least 50 years from a Megatall in NYC. The most likely host would be Chicago.

It will be nice when we can take photos without the cranes to see the finished product; The best skyline the world has ever seen.
