I think the main impression you get in this video is just how utterly quixotic and chaotic Toronto's built form is. It's an urban feast for the eyes that (almost) makes up in its wondrous farrago for what it lacks in traditional grandeur.
The crush of humanity at Yonge-Dundas Square at the beginning of the video is impressive in a New York-lite kinda way. Then at 45:00 you see why Kensington Market is the absolute funkiest neighbourhood in North America. Insider info: the hipster tacos at Seven Lives are totally worth the wait (53:16).
If you want to dive in and get lost in a city, Toronto on a nice, hot summer day is pretty much everything you could ask for.
